- grey glass

Of all of the names I wanted most of which I found were taken, Greyglass is the least descriptive. I didn't opt for a clever play on words or esoteric vocabulary that would be forgotten and looked up again week after week (poor haggard dictionary.com!). Instead I went with a simple image: a rainy road engulfed in mist between two lines of dark green forest. It isn't any particular time of day, it's simply blue and grey. A face behind the windshield floats impassively, viewing the rain drops that obscure vision.
Over time I'm sure the image will change. Perhaps I will be in a house now and then, warm and cozy while outside a storm approaches. Perhaps greyglass is a faded mirror in a mysterious antique shop or a deserted attic.
For now Greyglass is a picture screen hidden in the pages of a book many people and pages long.
